Software Engineer / Programmer (m/f)

Detailed job description

• Define concepts, design, implement and maintain software for the technical sales, turbine design departments and turbine test laboratories of ANDRITZ HYDRO.
• Elaborate concepts and solutions together with our globally distributed users, the group IT department and other business units.
• Development, maintenance and operation of desktop- and web-applications (full-stack DevOps).
• Creation of design automation and optimization applications.

We offer you a very independent and diversified function.

Austrian labor law requires us to publish the minimum salary of € 2883,03/month for this position according to the collective agreement applying.

However, the salary package we offer will depend on your qualifications and professional experience. You will also have access to career development opportunities within our international group.

Candidate's profile

College or University degree in a relevant subject
• Programming skills: C# (WinForms, WPF, WebAPI) or C++ (Qt)
• Experience with MySQL, MS SQL or Python of advantage
• Professional experience, particularly in the IT-environment of machine construction, are a plus.
• Fluent in English, German is a plus.
• Willing to travel (occasional, domestic and abroad)
