Lead Engineer Battery System f/m

Your Responsibilities:

• Technical lead for battery system team in Graz (10 – 15 people)
• Support for remote battery system teams in Poland and Turkey (each about 5 people)
• Guide and monitor system engineers in system and functional integration in projects and technical project management
• Preparation of battery system requirements and specifications (incl. FMEA activities and requirements decomposition to component level)
• Support DVP manager in definition of test and validation tasks as well as assessment of results (DVP preparation and implementation)
• Planning and monitoring of R&D projects
• Lead preparation of preparation of quotations incl. planning required battery system engineering resources

Your Profile:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Engineering or similar
• Excellent understanding of HV battery fundamentals, ability to comprehensively understand customer requirements
• Broad experience in systems engineering and system delivery, preferably in automotive industry
• Strong communication, teamwork and especially leadership abilities
• Analytical and conceptual capabilities
• Good written and oral English
• Confident in presenting to management, customers and technical specialists
• Expertise in high voltage battery design and validation is preferable
• Proven experience in Battery Management System design and validation is preferable
• Experience in DOORS, Integrity, Matlab\Simulink, Vector tools and any hardware design simulation tool is preferable
• Experience in CAD design is preferable
• Experience in Project Management is preferable

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the intended annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR 60.000,--. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
