Department Manager Skills Center m/f (Dept. SP)

Your Responsibilities:

• Constructive alignment of the Skills Center's content taking current and new challenges of powertrain development and the related development environments into account
• Design of innovative approaches in the fields of knowledge transfer and support, as also design of new training products
• Close cooperation with in-house and external partners for the global provision of know-how to customers
• Staff and cost responsibility
• Personnel management by objectives
• Promotion of young colleagues and their integration into the overall team
• Controlling and monitoring the economic efficiency and quality of activities
• Ensuring operation of the Skill Centers in Graz and Neuss (Germany) under your direct responsibility
• Design and content management of the Skill Centers and Training Affiliates world-wide (currently located in India, China, the USA, Japan, Korea, the UK, Sweden, France)
• Close cooperation with Application Services and global teams
• Technical support of sales activities
• Use and development of a flexible pool of employees to provide training and support services

Your Profile:

• Technical qualification (university of applied sciences/university of technology) and sound knowledge of AVL products and their use in the customer environment
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in personnel management
• Experience in customer training an advantage
• Confident in conducting negotiations in German and English
• Pronounced inclusive and intercultural skills
• Readiness to travel
• Business intellect

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the intended annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR 85.000,--. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
