Key Account Manager India (m/w)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Tasks
  • Explore future Market/Customer Needs and provide input for Business Field / Product Strategy
  • Representative of AVL at customers
  • Market Planning/Forecasting
  • Operational Tasks
  • Account Development / develop existing and new customers
  • Generate new Opportunities
  • Develop identified Opportunities
  • clarify real customer needs and feasibility (technical and resources)
  • elaborate value for customer (Buying Center Analysis, Value Proposition)
  • ensure lean project approach and lean offers + options approach
  • challenge HSK cost calculation of operations
  • set price within given margin boundaries and/or align with management
  • Ensure appropriate invoicing plans to facilitate cash flow and risk management
  • Present Quotes and manage customer feedback and offer revision
  • Actively identify and resolve potential concerns of Buying Center Members
  • Negotiate technical and commercial conditions
  • Collaborate with Affiliate KAMs, PPMs, Operations using tools like Sales Force and monitor Budgets for Technical Project Planning
  • Support Project Execution (handover, customer satisfaction, billing and collection)
  • Responsibilities

  • Ensure lean offers exactly matching customer´s real needs

Your Profile:

  • Requirements / Qualifications
  • Preferably mechanical engineering / electrical engineering / engineering management education
  • Experience in development of commercial powertrain systems (e.g. project planning, project management)
  • Interest and enthusiasm for sales / any previous sales experience?
  • Self-confident personality with communication and intercultural skills
  • English and German C level (conduct negotiations)
  • Willingness to travel
Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR 85.000,--. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
