Group Prod. Manager Electr. Drives&Inverters f/m/d

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyzing of the global market situation for electric drives, inverters and related products
  • Defining of the requirements for these products while taking into account the different areas of application
  • Analyzing of the competition, defining of unique selling points, preparing of the corresponding sales documents, presentations and Battle Cards
  • Communicating with customers, offer and sales support for drive solutions
  • Coordinating of drive solutions with the product managers and solution engineers from the system business segments
  • Defining the integration of the products in the AVL tool chain as well as support in system technology for customer projects
  • Cooperating across departments and business divisions with developers, application managers, solution technicians and project managers when introducing products, as well as cooperation with subsidiaries

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed master’s degree (TU, FH) in electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering
  • Knowledge of power electronics, drive technology and electrical engineering required (ideally knowledge of standalone inverters/electric motors, 48 V, industrial applications, automotive, testing ...)
  • Experience with test systems for internal combustion engines, as well as electric and hybrid vehicles required
  • Knowledge in the field of torque and rotation measurement technology
  • Understanding of economic relationships, such as cost calculation and consideration of results
  • Knowledge of communication and marketing, especially for industrial goods
  • Knowledge of AVL engineering tools, processes and business tools an advantage
  • Highly motivated personality with self-management skills
  • Confident appearance and target-oriented, positive attitude when interacting with customers and employees
  • Experience abroad very welcome
  • Business fluent spoken and written English and German

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €54,600.00. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
