Job description, responsibilities and duties
FOR THE SALES TEAM OF OUR AVNET SILICA DIVISION, BASED IN PRAGUE WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
-Support the local team in demand creation at
customers by phone, using negotiation and convincing
techniques
-Follow up on quotes and orders issued and concluded
by the Headquarter with the customers, ensuring that
quote and order entry is completed in a timely manner
to maximise service to customers.
- Perform proactive backlog management (monitoring
of orders, shipping dates, price changes, etc.)
- Respond to, and answer customer telephone inquiries
in a timely manner.
- Request information from suppliers on prices and
terms of delivery.
- Interface with Customer Service,
Purchasing/Procurement, Warehouse and Credit
when needed.
- Maintain master customer data in respective systems.
- Manage customer concerns and claims and register in
the applicable system
