Job description, responsibilities and duties

Projects Technical Skills

• Ability to successfully manage large complex projects (from $1m to $10m) using best practice standards/principles and to agreed budgets and schedules
• Ensure all contractual obligations are met to the client satisfaction and in compliance with FSCM processes and objectives
• Undertake Task management of a project team

Projects Financial Skills
• Full P&L responsibility for projects managed with accurate tracking and delivery against original fee and margin analysis
• To deliver accurate and timely financial project reporting and achieve agreed Business Balance Scorecard measures
• Able to ensure all project costs and fees are billed to client and deliver margin in line with LoB Projects targets

People Management
• Up to 6 direct reports in a project (task management)
• Communicates professionally
• Meets normal business communication standards (verbal and written) and shows respect for others being able to accept differing opinions and resolve conflict
• Able to communicate in a pressure and critical environment
• Good team leadership skills
• Operate in accordance with relevant EHS parameters
• Have well developed people management skills.

Commercial and Customer
• Develop & maintain positive close business relationships with clients and relevant contractors & suppliers
• Able to develop & maintain relationships with FM Operations and other LoBs
• Able to anticipate if customer request is not in scope by providing additional solutions
• Support the Business manager in improving business efficiency and promoting the Business Unit
• Able to meet deadlines under pressure
• Be flexible and work effectively as a mobile worker
• Strive to achieve client satisfaction attributed to team performance
• Secure new business

Personality requirements and skills

• Bachelors Degree
• Chartered Building Surveyor preferred
• Substantial hands-on project management delivery within occupied environments and with accountability for financial performance and strategic planning
• English Fluency
• Customer service experience
Leadership:
• Able to demonstrate and assess leader behaviours defined in the Leadership Expectations Model, specifically as they relate to Leadership ethics (distinguish ethical from unethical behaviour, know values that are universally ethical, recognize situations that produce ethical dilemmas, understand the components of corporate social and ethical responsibility)
• Cultural Awareness
• Able to manage meetings effectively (how to plan, agenda, participate, manage conflict, handle difficult behaviour, action planning and follow up)
• Support the Business Unit Manager in promoting good teamwork and high morale
