Partnering with both business and technology groups, the Strategy & Architecture function plays an integral role in building a holistic view of the company’s capabilities, processes, data, applications, security and technology strategy. These responsibilities align with, and help realize the company’s overall vision and IT direction. Strategy & Architecture therefore is a crucial central steering function which leverages and taps into expertise across the company, building a coherent foundation and clear roadmap for the future.

 

YOUR MISSION AT ERSTE DIGITAL:

• Together with your team you develop modern and sustainable IT architecture patterns and ensure the sunsetting of outdated technology
• You drive the further improvement of an overall application portfolio management
• You steer strategic IT architecture modernization projects
• You closely align with your management peers to ensure a unified implementation of the overall target architecture
• You drive the management team to develop an IT strategy for Erste Digital
• You push our transformation forward by steering our agile agenda
• You track and report the progress on the execution of the overall strategy as well as the implementation of the target architecture

YOU CHECK THESE BOXES:

• You have at least 10 years of experience in areas like architecture, technology management, strategy consulting or project/portfolio/program management
• You use your excellent communication, persuasion and presentation skills to establish trusted relationships with board and executive management
• You are an analytical thinker with the ability to balance long-term, big-picture and short-term implications of individual decisions
• You empower your team: You promote team responsibility and can create a framework where teams have autonomy and feel accountable for their results, constantly enabling talents to develop further
• You show a strong heart and convince others using 360° communication: High level of social competence and empathy in managing your stakeholders
• You believe in change: Your self-confidence is based on your profound knowledge and experience. You remain curious to learn new things and you can guide your team during transformation processes
• You can helicopter your view: You take strategic decisions with a strong attitude and proactively shape the vision for your area
• Fluency in English; German or any CEE language is a plus
