• Senior Analyst, Workforce Planning
The Expedia Group Lodging Partner Services Workforce Planning Team supports the lodging organization by forecasting workload for stakeholder teams and modeling staffing scenarios to ensure partner onboarding, account management and support tasks are completed within targeted timeframes and to partner satisfaction.
To expand workforce planning support to the broader Account Management organization, we are looking for data-oriented, analytical professionals with a drive for learning and self-improvement who seek to enable positive results for the business.
To be successful in this position you will need to possess an entrepreneurial mindset and be able to operate with minimal guidance while owning end-to-end deliverables. You will handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, establish priorities, and drive delivery of high-quality outputs in a dynamic work environment with overlapping deadlines and short time constraints.

What you’ll do
o Work collaboratively with account management teams to gain a profound knowledge of workstreams and performance metrics
o Develop and maintain demand, workload and staffing forecast models based on historical data to be used in short-term operational execution and long-term budget planning
o Maintain historical data hygiene as well as proactively adjust forecast models to account for changes in business processes and metrics
o Analyze data to identify trends and/or patterns and make recommendations as appropriate to reduce workload and improve productivity for stakeholder teams. Monitor and track the results of recommendations as appropriate
o Anticipate and plan for adequate non-productive activities including project work, vacations, personal leave and other non-productive time to determine appropriate staffing coverage needed for consistently high levels of partner support
o Research and Identify potential risks in staffing levels. Develop and implement escalation plans to avoid or mitigate the risks as needed
o Utilize system reporting tools to analyze current business processes and to support continuous process improvements
o Assist with creation of forecasts presentations as needed by team management



Who you are
o Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Data Science
o Four or more years of experience in a strategic workforce planning role for a global organization
o Experience partnering with teams based in multiple countries and time-zones
o High performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence
o Excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivation and the capacity to work in a high-performing team with tight deadlines
o Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to stakeholders at the most senior level
o Competence in use of analytical tools including Excel, database querying (SQL), relational databases, Business Objects, Salesforce, Tableau, SAS, etc.
o Intellectual curiosity for what drives the business
o Passion for innovation and continuous improvement
