Nature and aim of the position:
Following the Company’s listing on the New York Stock Exchange in September 2020, GB is looking for experienced “Payments Account Reconciliation Analyst” to support daily accounting activities within Global Blue Payments team.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Reconcile and control the full transactional flow of the company: examine the money going in and out of the organization and making sure it is recorded and processed correctly
• Understands and applies knowledge of data/databases and files processing to investigate and resolve financial variances
• Analyze root cause to define necessary actions to remediate and prevent reoccurrences
• Work with internal Operations teams to help resolve transaction processing issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Prepare and formalize BS reconciliations following Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
• Assist in the development of ad-hoc analysis, reports, presentations, and special projects for senior management and cross-functional teams
Within this position you will:
• Acquire a deep knowledge of world-wide transactional flows and international method of payments
• Develop your communication and analytical skills
• Obtain experience in full range of accounting activities in a NYSE listed company

Reporting and collaboration
The holder of the position reports to the Accounting Manager “Currency Choice” and collaborates with the entire organization, most regularly with Payment Operations Teams, other Accounting teams within the Shared Service Center, IT team, System Analysts.
