Grand Circle Cruise Line is looking for customer-focused, enthusiastic and skilled independent contractors. We are a constantly expanding company in the river cruise business, at present operating a fleet of 4* ships on the Danube.

Salary offered (gross) stable minimum 144 EURO per each day on tour
+ tips (average length of cruise is 13 days); expenses covered (transport, accommodation, food while on tour)

Personality requirements and skills

• Citizenship or permanent residence in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland or Hungary
• Fluent English
• advanced Czech or Slovak or Hungarian or Polish and intermediate German
• Presence of any guiding / escorting license from your region would be advantage, but some experience with guiding is required
• Passion for people, your country, its culture and traditions
• Deep knowledge of history, modern life and culture of your country
• interest in current events
• 24/7 availability to our travelers during the trip

What do we expect?
· You are perfectly fluent in English - our passengers are Americans only
· other Central European languages is great advantage - Hungarian, Slovak, German, Czech or Polish
· Know historical and general background of the areas visited (Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland and Germany)
· That you are creative and flexible, have leadership and organizational skills, and most importantly – you are a Team Player
· You will be passionate about the travel industry and our guests - firmly desire to make people pleased and satisfied
· Tourist guiding experience preferred, but not required.
· Interest in current events and affairs of the regions that our cruises travel through.
· Good story-teller
