 MAIN TASK - PURCHASE OF COMPONENTS, SERVICES,
 Position directly report to Purchasing & Logistics Supervisor
 Using approved suppliers list to buy (at approved prices negotiated by the Supply Chain) all the components, material needed to produce the finished products in the order book.
 Issue orders for services and other items needed for running daily business.
 Anticipate and follow up with suppliers to ensure on time delivery of components
 Responsible for availability of material for production and the cheapest transport cost
 Ordering parts in line with production needs and keep stock as low as possible same time using proper tools: Plan for every part, experience, etc.
 Set up of material availability with suppliers building safety stocks at suppliers place,
KANBAN set up, optimization of packaging and transport and ad hoc duties
 Prompt reporting of defects and non-conformities - quality etc.
 Improving internal material flow together with warehouse keepers and Central logistic
 Other ad hoc duties selected by leader Authorities
 Interrupting production if the work safety or the company’s property are at risk and/or after having discovered
 discrepancies with the production quality requirements
 Suspending material designed for production if qualitative requirements have not been complied with
 Issue and send purchase orders based on operation authority matrix Approval Limits

Responsibilities for:
 Timely delivering production material
 Properly completing assigned tasks
 Following introduced systems in the division
 Observing the requirements of health and safety protection at work and fire protection at workplaces
 Observing the company’s internal regulations and Parker Policy
 Properly keeping the appropriate documentation

The Buyer is responsible for commodities or assignments requiring application of basic purchasing principles, theories and concepts. The Buyer ensures timely acquisitions of product or service from known sources of supply. Additionally, the Buyer may resolve issues in the areas of requisition accuracy and completeness, on-time delivery or supplier payment functioning.
