IP Services Application Developer - PHP developer

We are the IBM CIO Network engineering team and we are looking for an experienced Application Developer to support the IBM internal network. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with the IP Services team and create new or optimize existing tools for internal usage while using various technologies and programming languages. Our team collectively works to maintain network stability, security, and visibility to ensure that Industry best practices and SLA’s are achieved, and to allow our organization to meet its mission objectives.

The team creates tools for internal use, using various technologies and languages. (mainly PHP/Laravel, VueJS, Java)
Participate in the architecture, design and development phase of software production
Work in Agile team and manage personal work tasks for optimized software delivery
Deliver high-quality software (better with extensive Unit Testing)
Communicate with foreign team members and clients.
Be responsible for developing and testing components and the whole system
Collaborate closely with the team in designing software and hardware
Build polished cross-browser web-based user interface

What do you need for success
Experience with PHP/Laravel
Expert with one of the following: React, Angular, Vue, Node
Experience with HTML5/CSS3
Experience with responsive design, and using fallback techniques to support various browsers
Integrate with server-side RESTful APIs (JSON/XML)
Proficiency in interaction with a wide variety of APIs
Experience with Postman and other API testing tools
Experience with Swagger for documenting and testing APIs
Understanding customer and business needs
Ability to meet tight deadlines and give accurate time estimates
A desire to constantly improve as a professional and stay on top of the cutting edge technologies

A significant advantage would be
Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
Experience with Relational and Nonrelational Dartabases
Experience with different architecture types and good knowledge of microservices one.
Experience with CI/CD practices - Docker, Kubernities, MQ servers and so on.
Experience with Bash Shell Script, Python, Perl
Knowledge about Sofware used in Network management teams - RIPE whois, Infoblox and others.
