Job description, responsibilities and duties
Your Responsibilities:
• Functional lead of projects in compliance with internal and external time schedules
• The technical specification and the arrangement of electrical equipment
• Detailed engineering throughout the project execution phase (e.g. wiring diagram design, PLC software coding, bill of material creation)
• Identifying opportunities for optimisation
• Supporting commercial teams during the offer phase with ad hoc technical requests
• Assessing project scope and the contractual division of responsibilities
• Short circuit and load flow calculations
• Providing technical support/advice to customers and partners during face to face meetings
• Strong contribution to our cost-out programs to support further development
• Working closely with specialists across Manufacturing, Engineering & Service
• Creation and further developing our existing customer documentation
• Understanding the business implications of your work in terms of growth and customer added value

Your Profile:
• Bachelor / Dipl. Ing. / Master’s degree in Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering or a diploma from a Higher Technical School (HTL) plus profound experience in the Energy sector
• Extensive knowledge of power plant electrical equipment such as low and medium voltage components
• Several years of experience in engine/plant commissioning, testing, operations and maintenance are advantageous
• Experience with calculating protection relay settings and short circuit levels
• An understanding of common electrical standards (such as IEC, IEEE, NEMA)
• The ability to communicate fluently in English
• Basic German speaking skills advantageous
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of working time
• A valid work permit for Austria as a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)
