English web content writer and manager

For a global, successful partner project, we are looking for an English content specialist to write web content in English and take care of other content-related responsibilities potentially ranging from proofreading text to managing other writers (more info below).

The project revolves around online gambling, so the majority of the content will be related to this field, but other types of assignments may arise as well. Experience in gambling is welcomed but not required.

We can offer a continuous flow of assignments, an ample opportunity to learn, as well as a possibility to work on a successful global project (top 5 in its field globally) with courageous ambitions to make online gambling better and safer for players.

This is full-time or part-time position, but in either case we are looking for someone who will be committed, reliable, and reasonably available to aid the project’s content needs.

About the project
You’d be writing and managing content for a multilingual, global website focused on gambling and online casinos, with extensive and honest casino reviews, as well as educational content about gambling, playing in online casinos, and the dangers of these activities. The goal of the website is to provide its visitors with objective and unbiased information, helping them make well-informed decisions, so that they can stay safe in the online gambling ecosystem. The project is also developing and taking part in activities aimed at making online gambling fairer and safer for players and reducing its harmful effects.

Don’t be intimidated if you are not familiar with the topic of online gambling. While it’s certainly a benefit to be knowledgeable in this field, it’s not a requirement. We are ready to explain to you everything you need to know and teach you how things work in this industry.

What’s more, there will also be opportunities to write articles not related to gambling. Being able to crack open even the toughest of topics and transform them into easy-to-understand content is much more important than any gambling-specific knowledge.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities and activities handled by the person we are looking for may include the following:
- Writing high-quality articles and press releases based on provided assignment
- Researching complex topics to be able to create great content
- Helping other internal team members get their thoughts across concisely when communicating with the outside world
- Optimizing our current content to improve its value for the readers, SEO-friendliness, user experience, etc.
- Communicating with other departments (UX, SEO, design, development, PR, etc.) and fulfilling the project’s content needs
- Working on the project’s content strategy and discovering new opportunities
- Providing valuable and constructive feedback for other writers

The plan is to begin with some of these activities and start incrementally broadening the candidate’s responsibilities and involvement in our content-related needs, based on skills, preferences, and mutual agreement.
