Regional Director Corn Central Europe (m/f/d)

We are looking to recruit a Regional Director for our Business Unit Corn Europe (m/f/d). You will be responsible for our growing operations in the region Central Europe and integrate our leadership team at the headquarters in Einbeck (Lower Saxony/ Germany).

Your tasks:

  • Drive the growth in the region, accountable for the P&L of the Business Unit in the respective countries (PL, CZ, SK, BY, LT, LV).
  • Participate in the design and implement the strategy for sales and marketing for the region.
  • Lead the country managers from the different subsidiaries, putting special attention on the development of their respective teams.
  • Steer the life cycle of the varieties, integrating the country-specific know-how and aligning the market needs with the breeding objectives.
  • Oversee the seed multiplication activities within the region.

Your profile:

  • Customer oriented (external/internal), strong communication and intercultural skills.
  • Strategic, able to see the whole picture and derive meaningful conclusions.
  • Agile and accountable, proactive and full of motivation.
  • Collaborative and focused in talent development.
  • University degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in agricultural sciences/agricultural economics or economics with agricultural background/ interest.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience including leadership roles.
  • Agricultural and business management knowledge, professional experience in international sales, know-how in seed business preferable.
  • Fluent English skills written and spoken, further language(s) of advantage.
