Technical Support to Sales

The ideal candidate will be responsible to support of internal and external customers in case of technical issues.

• Technical customer support for processes belonging to POP/DBM Product groups by customer visits and technical advice by phone
• In-house improvement / adjustment of customer plating electrolytes and MacDermid Enthone process
• Preparation of customer samples in MacDermid Enthone pilot plant for technical demonstration / improvement of defects or presentation of MacDermid Enthone processes
• Make up and start of production of customer plating lines
• Written documentation of customer visits
• Written documentation of technical information and technical adjustments at customer plating lines
• Support of Marketing / Sales / R&D by written reporting of VOC, technological trends and activities of MacDermid Enthone competitors
• Interface between customer and internal divisions
• Support of sales process by technical advice / guidance
• Implementation and optimization of new technologies (alpha- / beta-site)
• Training of customers & colleagues

• Completed professional education as electroplater with further education as technician or engineer, university degree in chemical engineering or similar field.
• Several years of work experience for area of electroplating with excellent knowledge of decorative plating.
• Good knowledge of common Microsoft applications.
• Very good spoken and written skills of English language
• Fluency in Czech language
• Basic knowledge of applied statistics
• Strong communication skills and assertiveness
• Strong analytical skills and structured approach
• Ability to work under pressure
• Team spirit
• Flexibility and willingness to travel (regional and international)
