The Immigration Specialist will:

  • effectively manage all the aspects of the work permit application process for a high volume of new employees
  • ensure effective hiring and administration of Foreign National employees
  • be a Central Communication Point between HR department, Hiring Managers, Foreign Nationals, Staffing and Legal for immigration requirements and procedures
  • interact with all the mentioned stakeholders and communicate complex immigration requirements to clients
  • ensure that immigration paperwork is filled in accurately and in a timely manner
  • use MS Excel tools to prepare reports and provide metrics for analysis in decision-making
  • be knowledgeable of current laws and their impact on the hiring and administration of foreign employees
  • use creativity, experience and good judgement to make decisions with the positive impact on business

Profil kandidáta

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years of experience in HR
  • strong knowledge of MS Office tools
  • advanced English equivalent to C1
  • knowledge of the Czech immigration laws and regulations
  • knowledge of the process and requirements to obtain an Employee Card (Work permit) in the Czech Republic
  • ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • ability to meet deadlines under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • strong oral and written communication skills, strong cross-cultural understanding, strong problem-solving skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • experience with managing large immigration caseloads
  • experience with delivery of global immigration services
