This will be your future role:

As a Big Data Developer, you will participate in the development, delivery and maintenance of our flexible product - identity verification, risk evaluation, installment management, credit card management, and payment tracking. You will capture functional and technical requirements from the clients and identifying the best solution. You will work on Hadoop based on Cloudera with focus on data grabbing and storing into Hadoop + work in multi-disciplinary teams (technical, functional, business) locally and remotely!

Essential requirements:

• 2+ years of Big Data experience with a focus on Cloudera platform (advantage)


• Proficiency in coding in Scala


• Basic knowledge of Python


• Understanding NoSQL databases such as HBase


• Experience with Hadoop, Hive, Impala, Spark and Kafka


• Proficiency in Linux environment


• Knowledge of working with GIT, SVN


• Agile/Scrum development cycle understanding
