The Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Prague, Czech Republic, is seeking a Residence Chef/House Manager to join his household staff. The Residence Chef/House Manager acts as part of a small team, alongside two other colleagues and is responsible for a smooth day-to-day running of the residence of the Dutch Ambassador.

- Prepare meals for both formal and informal events (receptions, buffets, dinners, lunches and breakfasts hosted by the Ambassador and Embassy staff)
- Prepare meals for the Ambassador, in cooperation with Ambassador and spouse
- Communicate with Embassy staff regarding schedule and requirements
- Order, purchase and store food and take care of simple bookkeeping
- Ensure that all residence work is conducted following food hygiene, health, and safety practices
- Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff, maintenance/repair staff, gardeners and the Diplomatic Service
Profil kandidáta
- Minimum 3 years professional experience in a Chef position
- Relevant degree from catering/cooking/gastronomic school or in hospitality
- High-standard cooking skills and knowledge
- High standard of professional behavior, sense of decorum and discretion
- Communicative level of English and intermediate level of Czech language
