A Day in the Life

The Operational & strategic Performance Management Center of Excellence (OPM CoE) spans entire Medtronic and supports the Western Europe sales force and management in driving revenue, achieving sustainable growth, profit and ultimately market share by enabling and enhancing overall effectiveness and efficiency and increasing productivity.
The OPM CoE is intended to develop, deploy and manage sales enablement tools and analytics and deliver them through a harmonized, integral sales information framework.

As a Sales Analyst you will work closely with, and will report to, Business Intelligence Manager. The Sales Analyst is a capable business analyst who has a strong interest in business processes together with high agility in reporting design and development. This role will support the development and implementation of tactical and strategic projects and initiatives across Western Europe and with additional focus in maintaining business analysis tools to support the business processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs and delivers Product Reports and Trackers, Sales performances trackers, and ad-hoc analytics to support strategic or tactical Sales and Marketing initiatives.
  • Designs and develops Tableau reports
  • Partners with other functions in Commercial Operations and Sales & Marketing to identify new data analytic needs and manages projects to develop and implement solutions
  • Develops, updates and delivers existing Business Analytics
  • Ensures consistency and harmonization of sales reporting process, working closely with Sales Incentive Team, shared services and other functions withing Medtronic. Investigates and understands all the steps needed to build the information, finding and addressing all the gaps.
  • Updates and delivers Performance Tracking tools in Countries/BUs.
  • Maintains a harmonized and centralized information framework (i.e., product family definitions, templates, SharePoint users, Tableau users)
Must Haves
  • BA degree (e.g. Business Admin) or similar Business Analytics qualification
  • Highly experienced and expert with software: Tableau / PowerBI or other data visualization software, Advanced Excel, SQL, Office automation
  • Written and spoken English
  • Business Analytics Experience required (Minimum 3 years preferable)
Nice to Haves
  • Experienced with Tableau highly advantageous
  • Access, Advanced VBA programming
  • Multinational work environment experience
