⦁ Opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a prosperous Manufacturing business

Job Description
⦁ This person will report directly to the Plant Manager in Czech Republic with whom he/she will prepare a set of periodic management control reports in close cooperation with the parent company's Administration, Finance and Control function
⦁ Create and implement set of guidelines and administrative procedures
⦁ Cooperate and supervise an external accountancy company
⦁ Together with an assistant, keep the accounting system updated
⦁ Supervise bank movements, supplier payments, customer collections, and others
⦁ Check invoices and make VAT records
⦁ Record the payroll
⦁ Prepare VAT returns
⦁ Participate in the presentation of interim financial statements
⦁ Develop and maintain management control reports
⦁ Closely cooperate with the Administration, Finance and Control function in the headquarter based abroad
The Successful Applicant
⦁ Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
⦁ Min 5years of similar experience within manufacturing sector
⦁ Excellent Excel and accounting system skills
⦁ Strong technical accountant
⦁ Excellent Communication skills
⦁ Strong Commercial acumen
⦁ Confident and self-assured - you will work closely alongside key stakeholders in the business, and will be required to influence and challenge behaviours if necessary
⦁ Fluency in Czech and English is a must
