EPIC Assist, z.u. is looking to employ a talented, positive and enthusiastic member to our team based in Prague.

Job Description:
The main role of the program officer/program analyst is to provide:
- Quality assistance to the programs implemented by EPIC ASSIST z.ú. in the
Czech Republic and sister organisations in Slovakia and Scotland;
- Tasks related to program design, program development and other activities
aiming at strategic development of the organisation;
- Independent ideas which may be accommodated to the program strategy of
the organisation.;
- Project funding submissions;
- Positive self-starter innovative ideas and energy to make a difference in their
community.

Successful candidate will work under supervision of the Central European Coordinator and report to her and where necessary to the General Manager of International Services.

Main tasks:
• Prepare and submit new projects according to the grants/calls
• Design, planning and implementation of the specific program pillars;
• Identification of funding, writing grant applications and fundraising;
• Production and dissemination/marketing of policy papers and program
documents;
• Assist with the design of specific social enterprise activities;
• Organise activities including meetings, conferences, seminars and visits;
• Write articles/news for EPIC ASSIST z.ú. web site;
• Liaison with the relevant partners in the field of employment/labour policy
and social economy;
• Research information on the topics related to EPIC ASSIST z.ú. programs.

Salary Range:
Dependent on relative skills and experience.

Starting salary of minimum 17,000 CZK (monthly) for part-time contract based on skills and experience. All travel costs and out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed upon presentation of required documentation.

Personality requirements and skills

The person we seek needs to be able to bring project management, analytical, methodological and evaluation practices as well as new, innovative ideas and actively contribute to existing and potentially new programs and activities aiming at better assisting marginalised groups in society in the Czech Republic. Ability to write project funding applications is highly regarded.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience Required:

• University degree or higher tertiary
qualification in a relevant discipline to the role;
• Previous experience with in project
writing/implemention is ragarded ;
• Proven interest in issues related to public
policy, social inclusion, social economy and/or
labour policy;
• Excellent written communication skills, with
analytical capacity and ability to synthesize a
variety of information for the preparation of
quality program documents;
• Ideal candidate will be well organized with
excellent interpersonal skills and willingness
to learn;
• Fluent Czech and English language (both
written and spoken) is essential.

Initially the hours of work will be a minimum of 16 hours per week but this will likely increase as the program matures and work increases. We would hope that the role will evolve in time to a full time role.

There will be need to travel within Europe to represent EPIC Assist z.u. at various project meetings or functions.
