Náplň práce, pravomoci a zodpovědnosti

For our client a company which is a part of the multinational business organization operating on the international market in the field of electrical and electronic we are looking for suitable candidates for a position Accountant – SAP.

What will be your responsibility:

  • Full scope of accounting operations including AR/AP, invoicing, fixed assets, inventories, internal journals following US GAAP and local standards.
  • Planning, conducting, and participating in analysis of complex cost assignments, ensuring that all assigned projects adhere to accepted cost accounting standards
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end reporting, meet all corporate and regional deadlines
  • Responsibility for invoice processing for our entities in Europe
  • Understand the balance sheet & income statement impacts of every transaction
  • Assemble information for external auditors for the annual audit
  • Cooperate closely with Financial Controller on various tasks and projects

What do we expect:

  • Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, with an Accounting or Finance major.
  • Must have at least three (3) years accounting/ finance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with SAP required
  • Finance and accounting knowledge and skills (US GAAP + local)
  • VAT and local taxation standards awareness
  • Effective interpersonal/communication skills and ability to work with all levels
  • Advanced skills, including spreadsheet, word processing, graphics software and financial reporting tools
  • Excellent analytical/ problem solving skills
  • Close attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and to work under strict deadlines
  • Committed and dedicated to continuous improvement
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Czech and English
  • MS Office, especially Excel usage skills
