We’re currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Lead, to support our Sutures Manufacturing. Managing both our purchasing and planning teams, you will be responsible for co-ordinating production planning & scheduling in order to improve accuracy, customer service and reduce costs.
We’re looking for someone to help build our Supply Chain Organisation, by bringing creative, and innovative solutions forward. You’ll have previous experience within a manufacturing environment, with experience of working with Oracle, or another ERP system.

What will this role involve?
• Execute the business plan objectives by working proactively with the management team as well as designing and implementing Supply Chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities or cost reduction strategies.
• Develop key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the purchase-to-pay process and the performance to meet customer demand
• Develop and communicate Supply Chain related policies, procedures and internal controls in line with the Medical Device Regulations’, Customs and internal quality standards’ requirements.
• Report to Local and Group managers about actual performance and improvement plans, including leading the Sutures S&OP process and contributing to Sutures OLT meeting.
• Optimize the use and functionality of the ERP platform (Oracle) focusing on the use of Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) to drive manufacturing, and purchasing activities.
• Oversee all Supply Chain activities of the Sutures organization.
• Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes and to determine their effect on Supply Chain activities.
• Conduct investigations to determine causes of material management related incidents and to improve safety procedures.
• Manage activities related to strategic and tactical purchasing, material requirements planning and inventory control, including negotiation of long-term contracts with suppliers, vendors or freight forwarders.
• Appraise vendor manufacturing ability and monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
• Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste and optimize customer service.
• Participate in the co-ordination of engineering changes, product line extensions and new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or productions flow.
What we're looking for?
• Successful leadership experience in a supervisory or management position, including skills in coaching and training.
• Manufacturing industry experience is an asset.
• Production planning and scheduling experience within a MTO/MTS environment is desired.
• In depth knowledge of ERP system logic and functionality (Oracle ASCP/ SAP APO or similar) is desired.
• International matrix organization experience is beneficial.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
• Excellent problem solving, decision making and administrative skills as well as ability to effectively delegate tasks and manage priorities.
• Flexible, adaptable and ability to multitask.
• Positive and co-operative team player.
• English language skills are a must – written and verbal.
• Flexibility and ability to travel to multiple sites
