Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are seeking to have a talented Full Stack Python Developer join our progressive, creative and innovative team of technology and marketing professionals to continue to build on a world-first marketing strategy technology platform.
You will work in a small but growing team from the ground up, developing technology that is faster, smarter and more intuitive by design. At every touch point, you will see a team of people who embrace change, encourage thinking outside the box and are progressive in the use of newer, more innovative technologies.

About the Role
The successful candidate should have:
• A Tertiary qualification
• Three or more years’ experience in commercial software development in python
• A strong working knowledge of modern web services and how to build and run them
• A strong understanding of document-based database systems
• Working experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, Serverless stack etc.
• A team player ethos with a desire to help the entire team reach new levels of success
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
• Developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining backend applications in the AWS environment
• Distributing and deployment of globally replicated system
• Developing clean code, perform code reviews and share ownership of the code base
• Collaboration with the business team, defining the overall functions and features that will be incorporate into developed system
• Creation and maintenance of technical and user documentation
Requirements
• Strong Python development experience - 3+ years
• Strong working experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, ECS, SQS)
• 3+ years of experience of working with Linux base system
• Strong experience with document-based databases like Dynamo, MongoDB etc.
• Strong experience with Django
• Experience with Elastic Search
• Practical experience with Code commit and Code pipeline
• Practical experience implementing APIs and integrating with third party APIs
Great additional skills that we would love:
• DevOps knowledge, working experience
• Data modelling experience
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with JavaScript Libraries
• Experience with HTML5/CSS3
