Job description, responsibilities and duties
Our client, an international supplier for automotive industry, has decided to strengthen its team in Slovakia/Trnava region and hire a fully competent and LEAN driven Automotive Site Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Ensures development of the site in Slovakia by cooperating with most important clients in the automotive sector
• Drives and manages the operational performance of the site
• Drives continuous improvement on delivery performance, quality and processes
• Continuously develops the people and the team within the site
• Continues to build competencies in manufacturing engineering, quality, procurement and industrial engineering and thereby further maturating the site and the organization
• Continuously develops and manages key suppliers
• Communicates efficiently with a very operational HQ management

• App. 15 years of working experience, majority in automotive production
• Previous Plant Manager in a mid-sized company or an autonomous Production Unit Manager in a bigger structure
• Experienced in managing a serial production site that is part of some west European company with regional structure
• Lean mentality; experience with implementing Lean manufacturing
• Very good knowledge of the automotive sector quality requirements
• Experienced in having full P/L responsibility
• Experience in people management, being a leader and a coach; able to deal with the market people shortage
• fluent in English and Slovak
• Technical education (Engineer) required. A complementary education like Business Management/Administration realized at a later career stage (with practical experience) would be appreciated
• Structured, exact, reliable with excellent management and organization skills
• Result orientation, Stress resistance
• Sound communication skills, able to deal efficiently with the mother company, key clients and suppliers
