Job description, responsibilities and duties
Successful, fast-growing, high-quality IT company is looking for DB Developer / Solution Analyst / Solution Owner to join our team.
8+ years of development, business analysis, experience with solution ownership and project deliveries to customers onsite and on remote basis
Strong analytical thinking
Excellent oral and written communication skills – both towards customers and internally within the team
Experience with waterfall and agile project methodologies, use of support tools (JIRA, HPQC)
Experience with database modelling (ER diagrams, Data Flows, conceptual diagrams)
Experience with building Data Warehouses
Advanced knowledge of minimum 1 of below database engines
o Teradata (focus)
o Oracle
o PostgreSQL
o Microsoft
Advanced knowledge of PL/ SQL
Advantage of knowledge of Reporting (BI) tools
o Cognos 11+
o MS Tools (SSAS, MSRS, Power BI, Excel)
o Tableau
o Qlik

Information about the selection process
We're looking for 1-2 people to join our team of 40 and to help deliver a very strong pipeline of work. Once we review your CV, we’ll have the first video interview via Skype for Business with our IT Leads and PMO and if the meeting is successful, there will be another round of the video interview with our CEO. If you are based in Prague, we can arrange a face-to-face meeting as well.
At the start we expect a 2-4-week onboarding period in Prague, where you can get to know the team, the applications we work with and projects you should join. However, as we gain confidence in you and you become confident in us, you can work wherever you like. Your accommodation costs will be covered during your onboarding period in Prague.
