Job description, responsibilities and duties
YOUR JOB
Working in a team supporting the Export North America Transports by cooperating with carriers and forwarders to secure on time deliveries to importers. Support the team by reporting main SKUs and analyzing discrepancies. Support on analysis and drive process improvements. Taking a pro-active and solution oriented approach towards solving issues minimizing business impact.
YOUR MAIN DUTIES
Capture new orders releasing them and send booking requests
Follow up on ocean bookings and their arrangements
Coordinate any issues ad hoc
Maintain steady relationship with stakeholders
Provide input on performance issues with carriers or loading sites
Cooperation with the international team of North America and Global (GPO)
Provide visibility on performance of external suppliers
Report KPIs and take actions to improve service quality
