Job description, responsibilities and duties
Tasks may include but not limited to:
- Virtual CAD-based buildability studies
- Virtual access-studies for workstations
- Generate correct assembly sequences
- Assembly time estimations with MTM and tact time of robots etc.
- Initiation and communication of required engineering changes with R&D
- Feasibility of design for manufacturing in press, BIW, paint and general assembly
- Planning and assurance of production process
- Development of production concepts
- Development of layouts for each technology
- Documentation
