SENIOR PV ASSET PERFORMANCE EXPERT WITH AN AFFINITY FOR DATA SCIENCE (M/F)

to join us, in our *Vienna office, in this next exciting phase of our development.

We are looking for a new team member with experience in O&M and/or technical asset management for this role analyzing PV portfolio performance in our focus markets (currently India and Europe).

We expect you to:
  • Become an expert in the use of PEAK for PV plant performance optimization
  • Analyze PV plant performance data for large and complex portfolios
  • Provide continuous feedback for the improvement of PEAK
  • Maintain continuous dialogue with our existing customer base (and their service providers)
  • Train clients (technical and senior management level) in the use of the PEAK Cockpit platform
  • Coordinate plant managers, service technicians and third party service providers
  • Closely cooperate with internal heads of departments to resolve technical challenges
  • Manage and optimize service provider and sub-contractor relationships (service quality/cost)
  • Train and review direct reports (one to two at present)
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements (incl. but not limited to Health & Safety)
  • Ensure process discipline and appropriate usage of group wide systems, tools & templates
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions
  • Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness of regional operations
  • Strive for constant improvement of regional operations
  • Support business development and sales processes together with the Head of PEAK Operations and the Sales/CRM function:
    • Prepare client proposals (for Due Diligence, PEAK Analysis, Owner’s Engineering and O&M services)
    • Negotiate contracts and prices for client assignments
You will need to have:
  • Master in Industrial or Electrical Engineering and/or Renewable Energy or equivalent
  • 7+ years of utility scale PV solar experience covering both technical asset management and/or O&M (including contracts and best practices) and project management
  • 3+ years of experience in executing improvement projects or similar on utility scale PV plants
  • Experience of working with data and carrying out data analysis on big data sets for large portfolios from the technical as well as the commercial aspect
  • An understanding of AI and ML
  • The ability to form and lead project teams, dispatch and manage work streams and projects on time and in budget
  • High business awareness, excellent commercial skills and proven network in the solar industry
  • Very good organizational skills, be able to prioritize; be stress-resistant and solution-oriented
  • A high sense of responsibility, professional attitude and quality focus
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office
  • An established PV network and be good at building relationships and trust
  • Good command of English, further languages would be an advantage
  • Flexibility to travel regularly for short periods to existing and new potential markets, to our other international offices (Delhi, India) or for project site visits.
