We have an opportunity for an highly analytical individual to join us in a new European organization to support day-to-day Operations for the increasing number of vendors on our Direct Fulfillment platform. Direct Fulfillment (often called Drop Ship) supports the fulfillment of customer orders directly from vendors’ facilities instead of the Amazon FC.
Amazon is looking for an EU Direct Fulfillment Specialist to work in a dynamic environment; your responsibilities will include supporting vendors with day-to-day Operations on the Amazon Direct Fulfillment platform. You will own the resolution of operational and logistics issues that impact our customer. This is primarily a Supply Chain Operations / Transportation role but additionally you will work with other internal technical and business teams, and contribute to new platform feature developments and operational process improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

Understand Amazon Direct Fulfillment program and services and articulate and guide vendors on post-launch questions.
Actively support vendors using the Amazon Direct Fulfillment platform with operations and transportation questions.
Work with vendors and carriers to set and meet milestones and deliverables to deliver high-quality operational performance.
Track and report operational performance using appropriate metrics. Engage with internal and external customers/teams to define requirements, verify business processes, and deploy agreed process changes.
Communicate via email and telephone with vendors plus other internal customers to provide first line support on operations questions.
Maintain Amazon's outbound supply chain quality by enforcing Amazon's Policy Guidelines.
Participate in other special projects/assignments as necessary.
Achieve weekly productivity and quality standards.

Basic qualifications:

Excellent written and spoken English and Italian
Excellent business writing and communication skills.
Ability to communicate complex issues correctly and clearly to both internal and external customers.
Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and use data analysis to understand the root cause of problems.
Self-disciplined, proactive and detail oriented.
Passionate commitment to Amazon's emergence as the world's most customer-centric company.

Preferred qualifications:

Previous relevant experience in a customer service environment preferred.
Additional knowledge of Spanish language is considered as an advantage

Desired skill-sets - MS Office Application Excel, ability to work with many tools / platforms.
Desire to expand skills into new areas.

Salary information

Base pay for this position starts from EUR 1,100 gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements. Company benefits apply subject to further terms, including annual membership in medical clinic, life insurance, retirement pension, meal voucher card.
