ESCRIPTION
Amazon is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to perform a combined planning and compliance role for local consumer taxes and digital services tax. The role will be based in our Bratislava office.
The ideal candidate will be able to work with a high level of collegiality and be comfortable directly liaising with various finance, accounting, legal and tax teams within the company. Amazon is a fast paced, dynamic growing business. You will need to be proactive enough to keep up with the pace of the business, be able to adapt to a changing environment, collaborate effectively with multiple teams in different geographies, and communicate effectively with business teams and senior leaders.
Working with other stakeholders, the role will: a) monitor for upcoming/new consumer and digital taxes which require reporting; b) analyse and identify requirements for those taxes; c) develop SOPs for each of those taxes; and d) undertake reporting and filing for those taxes.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Able to extract, analyze, and review data and make appropriate recommendations

· Hard working, quicker learner with a positive ''can do'' attitude and solid professionalism
· Partner well with people at all levels within an organization
· Able to work in a fast paced, informal, and often ambiguous environment
