Job description, responsibilities and duties
Amazon is looking for a talented and highly motivated Data Analyst to join the Fulfilled by Amazon Supply Chain in Bratislava/Warsaw/Prague/Bucharest. As an Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes to support the rapidly growing and dynamic business demand for data, and use it to deliver the data as a service, which will have an immediate influence on day-to-day business decision making. You should have strong analytical skills and excel in the design, creation, management, and business use of large datasets, combining raw information from different sources.
Location – Bratislava
Key responsibilities include:
· Own the design, development, and maintenance of datasets to drive key business decisions
· Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
· Interface with business customers, gathering requirements and delivering complete reporting solutions
· Develop and publish self-service tools and bridging/deep dive reports
· Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers
· Drive projects that help build Amazon into the most customer-centric platform
The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and ability to adjust communication to different groups of stakeholders, collaborating with BI engineers, data scientists, business analysts and program managers.
