Payroll's Perfect Pay Program is seeking a dynamic Program Manager who is passionate about driving global programs designed to improve each Amazonian's pay experience. In this role, you will drive challenging projects that cut across the whole employee life cycle, deliver solutions that positively impact over a million Amazonians, and work closely with teams that span the globe.
As a Perfect Pay Program Manager, you will collaborate with subject matter experts within Payroll and partner teams to dive deep into problem root causes, drive process improvements, influence technology roadmaps to deliver automated solutions, and identify new and innovative solutions to improve the employee pay experience.
Role Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and deliver complex, large-scale defect reduction and process improvement projects from initiation through delivery.
· Identify and evaluate opportunities for improvement and potential risks in current processes and systems.
· Conduct research on pay issues, collect data, perform analysis, develop hypothesis, options and recommendations to be presented to program stakeholders and leadership.
· Develop, prioritize, and maintain an inventory of projects that significantly contribute to the Payroll organization’s goals and Amazon’s defect reduction S-team goal.
· Define success metrics and provide regular program status updates on progress towards achieving S-team and program goals.
· Lead payroll effort to enhance pre-defect detection and analysis mechanisms so problems are identified and fixed before employee pay is finalized.
· Develop mechanisms to systematically address recurring pay issues.
· Lead and coordinate with partner teams to investigate and resolve urgent pay impacting issues while balancing short term fixes with long term solutions.
