Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and self-driven individual to join our team as a Business Developer in our IT consulting division. In this role, you will be responsible for proactively reaching out to potential clients, introducing Amtera's consulting services, and building strong relationships with decision-makers in the IT sectors. Your primary focus will be cold calling and generating new business opportunities through direct outreach. You will play a key role in expanding Amtera’s client base and market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and contact potential clients in the IT sector through cold calling, emailing, and other outreach strategies.
- Present and promote Amtera’s consulting services to decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and actively manage sales opportunities.
- Spend a significant amount of time on the phone initiating conversations and nurturing leads.
- Collaborate closely with the technical team to understand service offerings and tailor sales approaches.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve acquisition goals and expand the customer base.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, leads, and client interactions in CRM tools.
Key Requirements
- Fluency in English and German is an absolute must.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills, especially over the phone.
- Proactive, goal-driven, and persistent attitude with the confidence to engage cold contacts.
- Highly self-organized and reliable, especially in a fully remote environment.
- Strong commercial mindset and ability to understand client needs and match them with Amtera’s services.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment.
- Prior experience in business development or sales within a consulting, IT, or professional services environment.
