Job description, responsibilities and duties
Responsibility of the end-to-end delivery of the scrum team
Facilitation of the scrum ceremonies in collaboration with your business analyst (clear planning, good backlog grooming, track productivity of team members).
You lean more towards a PM background then a Scrum master background.
We work with fixed deadlines
We work with fixed scope
We deliver using the ceremonies, but other than that there is limited “Agile” about this environment
A critical mindset is essential
Awareness of SW development process, branching, tagging etc. Development experience is a very nice plus.
Resource/capacity planning based on the teams’ backlog & being able to make assumptions and work with levels of uncertainty
You provide clear plans with end-to-end solutions
Mindset / approach
You ensure the team delivers on a proactive way, not one that needs close supervision
Good/Clear communication skills
Escalate when necessary, try to fix issues yourself
Work in an organized way
Liase with external stakeholders (e.g. business) proactively
You commit to deadlines and are clear when you can not
Requirements for the employee
Minimum education required
Educational Specialization
Language skills
Personality requirements and skills
Proven experience in Project Management, preferably in a software development environment
Experience working with Scrum teams and facilitating Scrum ceremonies
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software delivery processes
Good knowledge of backlog management, planning, prioritization and capacity/resource planning
Ability to work effectively with fixed deadlines and scope
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and team members when necessary
Ability to create clear, structured end-to-end delivery plans and work with uncertainty
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including proactive collaboration with business and external stakeholders
Ability to identify, resolve and escalate issues proactively when needed
Highly organized, proactive and results-oriented mindset
Strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivery
Ability to work independently and ensure the team delivers without close supervision
Basic understanding of software development practices, including branching, tagging and release processes
Previous software development experience is a strong advantage
Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken
