Your main responsibilities would be:

  • Managing and executing financial closing activities
  • Ensuring control over business processes in an efficient and documented manner
  • Providing local support for R2R, P2P and O2C processes
  • Responsibility for financial statements and group reporting requirements
  • Responsibility for complying with local statutory and tax requirements
  • Drive audit activity and preparation of fiscal and statutory reports and maintain supporting evidence of control operation for audit purposes
  • Manage tax audits and any transfer pricing related topics
  • Responsible for managing and developing direct reports
  • Ensure a culture of Ethics and Compliance, adherence to Astellas policies relating to healthcare compliance standards and to to Finance Controls and Compliance standards.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Solid knowledge of accounting and internal control standards in an international and intercultural organization
  • Leadership experience combined with teamwork and partnering behaviours
  • Solid experience with ERP systems (SAP HANA) and reporting tools
  • Experienced communication skills with various management levels
  • Solid financial analysis skills
  • Experienced organizational and project management skills
  • English and local language advanced level in speaking and writing

Education/Qualifications:

  • University degree, ideally in finance or accounting
  • ACA / or ACCA / or CPA and / or equivalent accounting qualification is a plus
