Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Managed Security Services (MSS) Process Development & Gatekeeper Engineer (PDGE) position is semi-technical position requiring a blended set of project skills and in addition a bit of programming and networking knowledge.

The individual will be responsible for process development, improvement and process maintenance for MSS department along with gatekeeping and workload redistribution for the larger MSS team based on guidelines and team-specific rules. The MSS PDGE must understand the relationship and impacts that the processes and tools they help build and maintain have to the connecting services and team’s scope of work. The role requires experience of directly engaging with internal and external teams on challenging issues and solving related problems. This position offers interesting work experience for someone who likes to demonstrate and also develop project, process and also a bit of technical skills.

The job will require the individual to be flexible with work hours to cover multiple time zones (nights, weekends and possible holidays) in supporting global team.
Individual should focus also on gathering, analyzing, and validating customer requirements, team requirements and based on that adjust requirements for procedural updates and overall workload management/gatekeeping for the team.
Define project scope and objectives, guides activities of a project/program team including delegating tasks to team members, identifies resources, and establishes master timeline for deliverables.
Develop detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
Conduct project/program meetings and is responsible for project/program tracking and analysis.
Ensure adherences to quality standards and reviews project/program deliverables.

The job will require the individual to be flexible with work hours to cover multiple time zones (nights, weekends and possible holidays) in enabling Global customers.

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

With following skills:
- Excellent written and spoken English is required
- Experience in process development and process maintenance
- Simple programming skills (SQL, PHP, Javascript) welcomed/ability to learn these skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Basic knowledge of Networking, OSI model and TCP/IP protocol is very helpful
- Project management experience welcomed
- PC literate with experience using a range of software packages (Spreadsheets, Outlook email, Web databases, etc.)
