Job description, responsibilities and duties
Working time: 24/5 (3 shifts model) + weekend coverage (afternoon shifts)
Location: Brno, Czech Republic
Performs one or more of the following functions:
Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages. Schedules installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures. Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels. Installs and monitors security auditing software and remediates defects based on ATT security policies. Ensures workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions.
This role may have responsibilities for Domain 2.0 deployment and operations. Working with other operations support teams as well as our cloud tenants to maintain maximum stability, performance, and security for our Cloud environments which hosts both VNFs and application VMs. Supporting various Tier 3 partners with development, architecture, and project management to roll out technical enhancements, migrations, and expansion projects associated with Domain 2.0.
The position requires an operations/networking background combined with creative and independent thinking. This includes the ability to analyze complex circuit/networking issues and routing problems, an extensive knowledge in network design and maintenance, and an overall understanding of the IP transport principles. Also required are strong understanding of all emerging technologies and network security policies and standards.
