Instructor ATCO-Training (m/f/d)

The role you will play

• You will be part of the instructor team for the Initial Training (mostly of the practical part, but also in the theoretical sessions as to integrate the theory into the practical training)
• You act as course supervisor for the practical part of the Initial Training, being the focal point for/ interface between the training manager, the instructors and the trainees
• You are the instructor of trust for the practical part of the Initial Training, responsible for the briefings, supporting the trainees with functional knowledge, as well as development and conduction of remedial training (support classes)
• You are responsible for ongoing development of the practical part of the Initial Training so that the training follows pedagogic/didactical standards
• You are gathering feedback from trainers and trainees; based on this feedback you are responsible for deriving measures for the ongoing improvement of the training process (Continuous Monitoring)
• You support the colleagues responsible for the Unit Training
• You support administrative activities, like scheduling of trainers and courses
• You collaborate in projects and international working groups

Required skills

• Completed ATCO Training and at least 5 years of work experience (up to 5 years expired Unit-Endorsement possible)
• Completed and valid OJTI- or STDI-Training/Qualification and at least 3 years' experience as trainer
• Assessor Qualification and working experience as Simulator Trainer are advantageous
• Excellent level of English and good level of German
• Very good computer skills
• Educational know-how and experience in Coaching/Supervision advantageous
• Outstanding social competence, pleasure in working with people and imparting knowledge
• Personality with strong organizational skills, willing to work in a team and a competent and winning appearance
• High level of self-dependence and self-reliance
• Open minded for educational innovations and continuous professional development
