Facility Manager (m/f/d)

For the development of our new warehouse in Cheb we are looking for a Facility Manager (m/f/d).

What you’ll do with us:

• Coordinate all technical maintenance and infrastructure activities of the site and collaborate in the implementation of the company's strategic objectives, which are to adapt resources to the increased production
• Collaborate with the landlord and control operating costs as well as all utilities
• Budget planning and control
• Oversee the entire process of providing telecommunications, electricity, water, gas and heating and recommend changes in maintenance, mechanical, electrical and building design
• Overseeing maintenance work, performing facility inspections, repairs and modernization investments
• Monitor the quality of work performed by employees, vendors and contractors
• Managing service contracts and third-party vendors such as waste management companies and cleaning contractors
• Dealing with landlord and government agencies on building and engineering permit issues and proper implementation of insurance program, including handling claims
• Promote compliance with health, safety and fire codes.

What we’re looking for:

• Higher technical education and 4+ years of work experience in a similar position
• Very good knowledge of building law, as well as other current regulations on the technical operation of buildings, and good knowledge of technical documentation
• Experience in leading a team
• Very good knowledge of MS Office tools
• Ability to make quick decisions and act decisively in a dynamic environment
• Strong team player with focus on getting tasks done
• Advanced English language skills, German or Russian language skills are an advantage
• Electrical certificate would be an added advantage.
