Team Leader Battery Design m/f/d

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Technical supervision and line management of the skill team together with the lead groups in charge; responsibility for continued training and qualification of the colleagues on your team
• Ongoing development and establishment of processes and tools within the skill team
• Technical responsibility for the following areas:
  • Casing and seal
  • Cell block/module
  • Thermal system incl. interfaces
  • Mechanical and electrical integration (incl. interfaces), packaging
  • Component engineering and battery parts list
• Advancement of the product strategy, including planning and implementation of R&D projects and securing the respective IP
• Development of methods and selection of tools in close coordination with the Design department (DD)

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree or training in engineering and/or mechanical engineering
• At least 10 years of practical experience in battery development
• Automotive series experience
• Experience in employee and team leadership
• Strong analysis and structuring ability, reliable decision-making and implementation skills
• Confident appearance and strong communication skills
• Proficient English language knowledge & willingness to travel
• Ability to think outside the box
