EUROPEAN SALES DIRECTOR
RECRUITMENT SERVICES
Salary £50,000 - £60,000 basic, plus benefits OTE in excess of £100,000
One of Europe’s fastest growing resourcing businesses is looking to strengthen its’ team with the appointment of an experienced and commercially astute European Sales Director (ESM) to contribute to the company’s current plans and future success. This newly created position will be play a crucial role in developing the company’s client base initially within the Northern European region.
Job Description
The overall responsibility of the ESM will be to research, target and secure new profitable business on behalf of the company with new clients that operate in key market sectors within each country. This success will then lead to the development of a European sales team, headed by the ESM within each region and country.
Further responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
• Devise and implement successful sales strategies to identify and secure key targeted clients.
• Develop a pipeline of new clients, managing growth in line with company objectives.
• Exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for client numbers, candidate placements and other KPIs as defined by the Board.
• Full P&L responsibility ensuring financial targets are exceeded.
• Developing brand awareness within the region.
• Managing sales cycles with clients to understand and plan volume flex.
• Working closely with the European Operations Director to ensure all activities are aligned.
Skills and Experience Required
• Successful track record of international sales development either in a service or a product sector.
• Have exceptional interpersonal skills with a full understanding of good customer service philosophies and practices.
• An exceptional leader, determined and practical with sales management experience.
• Capacity for extensive European travel and working outside of standard business hours.
• European language skills would be an advantage, as would previous recruitment experience.
