Job Description

We’re looking for smart, and out of the box thinking graduates to join CHEP - the invisible backbone of the global Supply Chain. To do so, we need people who are passionate about numbers and the stories they tell (if they are read correctly!) Our business is complex but fascinating, and it's the perfect place to grow and start a career. You'd be working with our Finance Business Partner, Italy & Greece, and contributing directly in Italian and European projects.

To succeed in this role, ability to use Excel at advanced level, a very good level of math and fluent English are a must.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Assist on the calculation and submission of monthly taxes such as VAT, Withholding taxes, Corporate income tax, Intrastat, EC Sales list, etc.;
• Support on the month-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, backups for balance sheet reconciliations, etc.;
• Assist on the preparation of Financial Statements and completion of statutory audits for the entities assigned;
• Any other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the manager;
