Job Description

The position purpose is to cooperate with the Retailers, main receivers of the CHEP pallets, to deliver high quality of service and proper equipment flow; maintain the control over the KPIs in order to reduce losses and optimise asset efficiency; develop the relationship with the retailers and increase profitable share of wallets at retailers by developing the value proposition, targeting full size and fractional size pallets, and different sectors.

What you will do:

Account & Contract Management

  • Responsible to set up collections SOTs, solve logistics and operational issues at retailers
  • Responsible for negotiating the renewal or changes to the contract
  • Responsible for managing the contractual agreements
  • Communicate contractual agreements / changes to applicable departments
  • Responsible for ensuring correct incentive calculations and payments

New business opportunities and internal representation

  • Develops advocacy programs with retailers
  • Develops commercial service models in support of opportunities from E-Sales & Customer Service and in line with CHEP policy, procedures and processes
  • Identify major opportunities and develop a sales plan to achieve targets in nominated areas of responsibility
  • Participates in new business projects and internal meetings within CHEP in order to represent Voice of Retail in all topics internally

Drives and implements the relevant strategic priorities

  • Understands the strategic projects and the value these can deliver to the retailers; communicates the vision to the retailers
  • Co-defines, implements, manages and measures completion of the Retail Strategy
  • Completes thorough investigations into target company operations

Manages stock reconciliation program (“audits”) and stock and flows KPIs

  • Manages and maintains high stock and flows KPIs in cooperation with the retailers
  • Builds the annual audit plan for assigned retailer groups and ensures completion
  • Responsible for minimising and finalising the write off / write on
  • Manages the approval process and ensures conclusive documentation of audit results
  • Defines and executes the action plans to minimise the losses
  • Participate in current department projects and other tasks as delegated by the Manager

Who we are looking for:

  • Fluency in Czech and English
  • Experience in B2B retail sector, or project related to selling services to large manufacturing organisations with complex decision-making processes
  • Experience in logistics, and customer service will be an asset
  • Existing client portfolio and senior relationships in FMCG and Retail sectors will be a plus
  • Good presentation skills
  • High negotiation skills

  • Result-oriented and influencing skills
  • Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • CRM / Salesforce literacy and numerical skills
  • Driving licence B Category
