Job Description

In this position, you will be primarily responsible for most intercompany accounting in the European region. This includes preparation of intercompany data and calculations, review of accounting entries posted by outsourced accounting partners or robotics, elimination of intercompany mismatches, and analysis of intercompany entries.

  • Acts as the key point of contact for most intercompany activities and communicates pro-actively within the European and Global Finance organisation.
  • Drives and monitors local Finance and the Service Provider Genpact adherence to the Global Intercompany policy.
  • Aligns intercompany activities in accordance with accounting standards, policies, and local country requirements.
  • Oversees reporting and monitoring of intercompany mismatches and drives reducing and closing out identified mismatches.
  • Calculates transfer pricing charges based on transfer pricing documentation and methodology approved by the Tax department. Ensures compliance of intercompany charges with transfer pricing documentation and methodology.
  • Maintains that data for robotics processes and ensures their quality and completion.
  • Monitors and controls intercompany entries during month end and reporting process.
  • Reviews and approves payments of intercompany balances in the netting system.
  • Prepares quantitative summary for local transfer pricing files with support from the Financial Statements team and Tax department.
  • Supports tax department during implementation and changes of transfer pricing documentation.

Who are we looking for:
Must have

  • Bachelor or Post Graduate degree in Accounting or relevant comparable working experience as a senior accountant
  • Previous experience (3+ years) in accounting
  • Strong technical accounting skills including IFRS
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Solid Excel skills
  • Solid written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

Nice to haves

  • SAP knowledge ian s advantage
  • Previous experience in working with a regional finance team associated with geographically diverse businesses’ desirable
