Job Description

You will be a subject matter expert (SME) for Procure to Pay Europe (P2P) systems and processes, with specific responsibilities in the Invoice to Pay sub-area. Deputizes for the P2P Manager and receives escalation requests from the business. You will act as a liaison for the business with the Outsourced Service Provider for P2P.

Key responsibilities:

Payments Process:

  • Provides procedural guidance and education for the BPO team and business users on Brambles End to End (E2E) Payables processes.
  • Has oversight of the payment process and controls performed by the Outsourced Service Provider.
  • Ensures disbursements under approvals are executed in accordance with the Brambles payment policy.
  • Promotes best practices and reduces the requirement for manual payments.
  • Liaises with Treasury to resolve disbursement issues.

Invoice processing:

  • Monitors supplier invoicing activity through analysis and ensures volumes are in line with expectations
  • Perform analysis, troubleshoot, and resolve invoice processing-related escalations or exceptions raised by the outsourced service provider.
  • Liaises with the source to order team. To assist with a purchase orders or goods receipt-related issues.

Reporting and analysis:

  • Production and analysis of the weekly Duplicate audit report
  • Production and analysis of the monthly Trade payables balances.
  • Analysis of the monthly GR NI ageing report to address balances requiring follow-up action and clearing.
  • Performs month-end accrual analysis.
  • Provide support or information for internal and external audit requests

Process governance:

  • Ensures that all Processes are fully documented and reviewed as per the governance calendar.
  • Works with the Outsourced Service Provider to ensure alignment of processes and training material.

Requirements:

  • Financial Qualification / Degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Procure to Pay / Accounts Payable or Accounting role
  • Ability to work in a visible and fast-paced environment Ideally with SAP accounting/ and Procure to Pay experience
  • Strong analytical skills – SAP, and Coupa as nice to have
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Fluent English
