Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Understand existing business processes, such as Quotation process, or MRP planning or Purchasing processes etc.
• Map existing processes in a mapping tool such as PowerPoint.
• Organise workshops with different departments and facilitate design of new processes. Map new processes.
• Gather process requirements from process owners and users
• Document new processes in MS Word
• Identify where process steps could be supported by IT systems
• Develop process KPIs for different steps of a process
• Identify ownership of process steps (who is Responsible, Accountable etc)
• Manage the process design as a project with project plan, risk register, actions log, regular tracking etc.
• Support implementation of IT tools by aligning process to IT functionality.
