We are currently recruiting a Country Manager Czech Republic and Slovakia, based either in our office in Warsaw or in Berlin to lead the business development and marketing activities for Cambridge English Exams in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia, but principally in the Czech Republic. This is a fast growing market and an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to ensure that we fully exploit the market potential in key segments. The Country Manager Czech Republic and Slovakia will work as part of an extended team within our Europe region.

• Develop the business plan for the Czech Republic and Slovakia in conjunction with the Regional Commercial Head and deliver on revenue growth targets within agreed budgets
• Hold overall accountability for the business development function in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, with extensive travel to new and existing customers, driving the business development process
• Support other functions in the territory; conduct marketing activities in collaboration with the Senior Marketing Manager, work with the Recognition Manager to gain maximum recognition in country and with Network Services to support centres and customers
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders in the country including institutions, government and exam centres.

Personality requirements and skills

You will have a relevant graduate qualification, be proactive in your approach, and passionate about the educational opportunities unlocked by access to international certification. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential as well as the ability to think strategically and to develop on-going relationships with our stakeholders.
You need to be a native Czech and to possess an in-depth knowledge of the educational system in the Czech Republic. Proficiency in English at minimum C1 is required. You will be experienced in working in a business development environment and have a track record of achieving business targets.
You must be eligible to work in Poland or Berlin.
Experience of marketing is desirable, as is knowledge of Cambridge English products and services.
